By request I have been asked to comment on the person(s) writing the Anoka City Forum.
After spending time reading through the postings there appears to be some common themes.
Placing them into 3 buckets they would be:
!. Authority
2. Control
3. Social Activities
Before I begin I must say that my work is centered around “family of orgin” maladies or perhaps better put, “How your family environment affected your beliefs and actions today”
. I also must add that there seems to be a couple different bloggers but the central themes remain the same.
Briefly
It would appear that the writer(s) was raised in an environment that lacked love, caring and nurturing. Perhaps one of the parents was very dominant and “ a my way or the highway” attitude prevailed . Also I would not discount the presence of an older sibling who took on the dominant role (parental role) in the complete absence of two caring parents.
Very possibly there was some type of abuse going on in the family. Alcohol, sex, drugs, neglect, abandonment, indifference , are some of the issues that this child might have faced in the preteen and teen years. Also this abuse was a family secret; never to be discussed in public. Consequently afraid to disclose any “secrets” and lacking a feeling of security this child did not develop the social skills or the ability to interact with people which is necessary to function effectively in today’s society.
So now 30+ years later what has emerged is an individual who:
1. Has difficulty with any type of authority figures.
2. Is socially inept. Has acquaintances but no real friends that they can confide in. They are incapable of sustaining any type of friendship/relationship
3. Has a very controlling personality (since they were raised in a out of control environment) In turn they would date or marry a person who they can control or dominate It’s their turn now
4. Is very manipulative- it’s the way they learned to survive in the family.
5. Is quietly screaming for attention. Look at me! Look at me! I am somebody!
6. Is very on uncomfortable in any type of gathering and resents those who are.
So Bjorn Skoquist , Eric Skoquist , Alice Waggoner , Aaron Barr , Carolyn Braun , Anoka City Manager , Durkin Pub Guy , Gould , Gunlach and so many others that have been attacked by the Anoka City Form it is not about you it is a result of this person’s “dysfunctional” upbringing.
And Windego , River Town and the Anoka Car show you represent a type social activity that this person(s) is completely uncomfortable in. In essence you are the proverbial “Sour Grapes”
I suspect that the blog will continue as a cry out into the internet for attention or possibly help. Unfortunately this person is still being used as they were as a child by their pseudo friends and the cycle will continue.
Should this person desire to escape the demons of their childhood and begin living a happier life I would recommend a long term therapy program and possibly some short term institutionalization.

What a ridiculous cry of speculation.
You can’t start out with a brief explanation of what you assume to be a cause of someone’s childhood that you have no valid information on.
Look at the way you present your information. It’s fallacy upon presumptions upon make-believe. You sum your whole comment up with your assumption of childhood demons to be factual because you mentioned it previously.
It is this sort of ignorance in the media that rots validity of news sources.
Please, for the sake of journalism, if you are trying to give people something to read, give some facts and back up your reasoning. I know, its a lot of work, but give it a try sometime. You might come up with something really interesting and noteworthy for the people of Anoka to take into consideration.
You’ll never get anywhere if all you have are politically charged opinions with no real source or foundation. You may be capable of preaching to the choir, but you’ll never be able to reach too far outside of ignorance.
